DURANT, Okla. (KTEN) — Sherman police said a man wanted in connection with a Tuesday morning bank robbery was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon at the Choctaw Casino in Durant.

Sgt. Brett Mullen said detectives working the case positively identified the suspect as Michael Lee Dodd, 40. 

A warrant was issued for Dodd and he was traced to the Choctaw Casino. 

Mullen offered thanks to the Choctaw Tribal Police and the FBI for their help.

The holdup suspect reportedly entered the Chase Bank at 200 North Travis Street in Sherman around 10:20 a.m. Tuesday and demanded money from a teller.

"The suspect was given money and he was last seen leaving the west doors of the bank toward Crockett Street," Mullen said in a written statement. "No one was injured during the incident."

Police are looking for a white male around 5'-6" tall who was wearing a khaki button-up short-sleeve shirt, dark shorts, sandals, a gray ball cap and a blue medical mask.
