How do I send money from my Cash App to my Chime account?

Transferring money from your Cash App to your Chime account is very simple & easy. All you need to follow is a few simple steps and the funds will be moved into your Chime bank account within 1-3 business days. But, first make sure you have the latest version of Cash App installed on your phone. Also, I assume that you already have linked your Chime account with the Cash App.

How to transfer money from Cash App to Chime?

Steps to follow,

1. Launch the Cash App
2. Then, tap on the Balance
3. Have a look at the bottom
4. Tap on the Cash Out option
5. Select the amount you want to move
6. Tap on the Cash Out button
7. You will be asked for Deposit Speed
8. Choose Standard
9. The amount will be transferred into your account

These are the few simple steps that you need to follow in order to send money from your Cash App to your Chime account. Remember that you will be prompted for your fingerprint ID (if enabled) if you are using an iPhone. On Android smartphones, you may be asked to enter your phone’s passcode in order to complete the fund transfer process.

Also, be sure while choosing the deposit speed as when you select Instantly, the money will be transferred to your Chime account instantly but, the Cash App will charge you a transfer fee of 1.5%. Open the Cash App >> Tap on the Bank icon or Dollars that sit on the bottom left corner of the screen >> Then, you need to scroll down and tap on the Add a Bank option >> You will have to then choose a bank from the list >> Scroll down to find and select Chime >> Then, enter your Chime account log in details >> Tap on the Submit button >> Most probably, you will be asked to complete a verification process like submitting a code >> Continue >> Submit the code >> You will be asked to select a bank account if you have both Chime spending account and Chime Savings account >> Select one account >> That’s it! You are done linking your bank account with the Cash App.

How long does it take to transfer money from Cash App to Chime?

It takes around 1 to 3 business days to send money from the Cash App to your Chime bank account. To be clear, Cash App offers two ways to transfer money to any bank account. They are – Instant and Standard.

When you select Instant, the money will be transferred instantly but you will be charged 1.5% of the amount you sent as an instant transfer fee. On the other hand, there is Standard mode with which you can send money without paying any fee to Cash App but have to wait for up to 3 business days.
