Tuesday Afternoon- Scattered showers and thunderstorms possible through the rest of today. Totals for most will likely not be too significant, but some have already picked up over an inch of rain since midnight last night! Cloudy skies + the rain will keep temps closer to average. Highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.

Looking Ahead - This week will feature highs in the mid to upper 90s and chances of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday all thanks to a weak cold front. The front arrives Wednesday, which will be the focus period for storms, though not all will see an isolated shower. Rainfall totals look low, but those who do see storms could see up to half an inch of rain over the next two days. Temperatures remain in the 90s with a mix of clouds and sun.

Tracking the Tropics - We are continuing to watch a tropical wave off the coast of Africa. It has a 20% chance of formation in the next 48 hours and a 40% chance of formation in five days. This tropical wave will not be affecting the United States anytime soon.
