(KTEN) — A man was charged with six counts of breaking and entering, three counts of burglary, and assault and battery with a deadly weapon in Bryan County.

Deputies responded to reports of a home break-in in Bokchito, Oklahoma, shortly before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. A 17-year-old awoke to a man deputies identified as Brandon Leslie allegedly breaking into his home.

The victim pointed a gun at Leslie, who ran to his vehicle, slashed the victim's tires, and drove through the front of the house where the 17-year-old was standing.

While deputies were investigating the scene, another report of a burglary came in on Buffalo Hill Road.

Deputies found Leslie crawling away, attempting to avoid arrest. He was taken into custody and booked into the Bryan County Jail.
