EDMOND, Oklahoma (KTEN)- Thursday was not the day our local teams were hoping for at the OSSAA state baseball tournament.

In 3A, Silo lost to Washington 11-1. The loss snaps their 18-game winning streak in state tournament games, the second longest in Oklahoma history. The Rebels had previously won six-straight 2A spring titles.

Lone Grove also came up short in Edmond, falling to Mount St. Mary 3-0. The Longhorns finish their season at 31-6. This year was their second-straight state tournament appearance.

In Shawnee, Cashion defeated Latta 11-3. Cashion jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the top of the first and Latta couldn't recover. The Panthers wrap up their season at 23-9 having earned their first state appearance since 2022.

Congratulations to all three teams on great seasons.
