BELLS, Texas (KTEN)- Riley Rolen has played three sports for the Bells Lady Panthers, but Thursday she made it official that softball will be the sport she plays at the next level.

Rolen signed with Paris Junior College Thursday morning. She'll play shortstop for the Dragons.

She was a key piece of Bells' second place district finish this season. And when it was all set and done, it was her love for the game that pushed her to the next level.

"It was definitely the Lord," Rolen said. "I didn't know if I wanted to play at first. Then all of a sudden it was over, and I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I'm going to miss it.' So then, [Paris Junior College softball coach Shelby] Shelton gave me an opportunity, and I took it."
