GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KTEN) — Grayson County voters go to the polls on Saturday to make decisions about municipal positions and school bonds.

But have you double-checked what you need for this weekend?

Imagine waiting in a long line and getting to the polls to vote but forgetting the necessary items or missing some steps on your registration.

You'll either have to drive back home to get what you missed, or wait until the next election to vote.

"If at any time the voter sees irregularity — information that they should or should not be voting on — they need to stop, back up, contact the judge, and have the judge call our office," said Grayson County election administrator Julie Phillips. "Once you cast that ballot, that's your vote."

Phillips recommends that voters check their address is accurate, read what they're voting for on the ballot carefully, and bring a valid form of identification to the polls.

The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.  KTEN will have results and reactions to these school and city elections.
