SULPHUR, Okla. (KTEN) — The Sulphur City Council has enacted an emergency curfew in the wake of Saturday's tornado.

The curfew — in effect from 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. — encompasses the city's historic downtown area and all other locations that suffered damage from the storm.

The resolution says the curfew will remain in effect through at least June 30.
