GARVIN COUNTY, Okla. (KTEN) — A law enforcement pursuit on Wednesday afternoon ended when the suspect's vehicle crashed west of Wynnewood, Oklahoma.

The car went through a guardrail on US 77 at the edge of the Washita River bridge and a suspect was arrested.

“He got into town turned around and came back west, here on Highway 29," said Oklahoma Highway Patrol Capt. Shelby Humphrey. "Troopers were set up in this section of the road to attempt a tactical vehicle intervention;  prior to doing that, the suspect — the driver — drove directly into this guardrail behind me and crashed his car.”
