PARIS, Texas (KTEN) — Paris olice said at least four people were shot early Sunday morning during a fight at a block party.

The department received multiple 911 calls around 2 a.m. from people reporting multiple gunshots at the Booker T. Washington housing development in the 600 block of 9th Street NW.

"A preliminary investigation reveals that the gunshots resulted from a fight between two male subjects near the 600 building," police said in a written statement. "Approximately 80 empty shell casings of various caliber weapons were recovered from the scene."

The gunshot victims are all said to have suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Police said investigators were reviewing security camera footage of the incident, but that no arrests had been made as of Monday morning. They asked that anyone with information about what happened call 903-737-4138.

Lamar County deputies and Reno police officers provided assistance to their Paris colleagues.
