ARDMORE, Okla. (KTEN) — Ardmore police are investigating a dognapping that happened late Tuesday afternoon.

Tommy Millsap said his family's blue nose pit bull puppy named Bluey was stolen from a doghouse in their front yard.

"My wife and kid were home, and we feel a little uncomfortable, you know," he said.

Surveillance video shows the suspect entering the yard, unhooking the pup from her leash and carrying her into a waiting dark color pickup truck.

The couple has taken their case to Ardmore police.

"We had a couple of investigators come over to the house, and we told them that some of his family members — and some people he was friends with even — said that that was him, and they're going to go try to find him and get the puppy back," Millsap said. "I just wish that he'd give the dog back, and we wouldn't have had to get to where we are now."
