ATOKA, Okla. (KTEN) — Choctaw Nation Lighthorse Police are searching for an Atoka man who has been missing now for more than a month.

Brandon Hummel, 28, was last seen at his home in Atoka on January 23. 

"At this point our criminal investigations unit has taken on the case," said Lighthorse police Ofc. Meghan Bruce. "They're following up making contact with anybody who knew Mr. Hummel... anybody who knew him well enough to tell us where he might be... just following up with anyone who may have information."

We're told that officers are searching in both Atoka and Johnston Counties for Hummel, who is described as 5'-11" tall, 150 lbs., with brown hair and eyes. He also has several distinctive tattoos, including a heart under his left eye and two Pac-Man ghosts on his sideburns.

The missing man's family is offering a $5,000 reward for information.
