COLBERT, Okla. (KTEN) — More than $150,000 worth of equipment, software and supplies were stolen from Weldco Manufacturing in Colbert early Monday morning.

When general manager Waylon McKinney arrived at the business at 350 South Franklin Street, he noticed the lock on the gate had been cut and the business had been burglarized.

The lenses of security cameras were spray-painted, and hard drives, welders, a laptop — even the vending machines — had been wiped clean.

The thieves moved around the shop for four hours from midnight until 5 a.m.

"They're like a pinball machine, you know — just bing, bing, bing," McKinney said. "They're all over the shop; there's no method to their madness, so to speak."

Weldco makes fuel tanks, platforms, enclosures and fabricated metal parts.
