DURANT, Okla. - Following a pair of big home conference wins, Southeastern's Brennen Burns has picked up the Great American Conference Men's Player of the Week award.

Burns, a junior from Bethany, Okla., put together huge pair of games, averaging 24.5 points power game in wins over Southern Arkansas and Arkansas-Monticello, while shooting north of 50.0 percent form the field and handing out 7.5 assists per game.

He would flirt with a double-double in an 88-82 win over SAU as he put up 16 points and dished out eight assists while also chipping in six rebounds.

On Saturday, Burns would put together a career-high 33 points, including 20 in the second half as he led a huge comeback that erased a double-digit deficit and delivered a double-digit victory. He would also hand out seven assists and snag three steals in the effort as the Storm downed UAM 85-69.

SE will be back in action on Jan. 18 with a 7:30 p.m. road matchup against Henderson State in Arkadelphia, Ark.
