Search continues for suspect in Ardmore crimes
ARDMORE, Okla. (KTEN) — An Ardmore man linked by law enforcement to violent crimes remains at large.
Jason Javon Franklin is wanted by Ardmore police and US Marshals. He was the subject of the arrest warrant executed at the Huntington Falls apartment complex on Tuesday night.
Police said Franklin has several outstanding warrants connected to homicides and shootings within the city over the last few months.
Franklin is also wanted for violating the Mary Rippy Violent Offender Registration Act.
"Any time that somebody is convicted of a violent crime, they have to register their address with local law enforcement," said Ardmore police Capt. Claude Henry. "Mr. Franklin did do that; however, he is not staying at the registered address that he has on file with us."
While his current whereabouts are unknown, APD knows that Franklin has connections in other Oklahoma cities.
"Mr. Franklin has a lot of ties here in Ardmore, but he also has ties in Oklahoma City. He has a couple of ties in Lawton," Henry added.
The US Marshals Service is offering a $5,000 reward leading to the arrest of Franklin.
