A record-breaking Wednesday in Texoma

(KTEN) – Record high low temperatures are rather uncommon in climatological statistics, but a few Texoma locations observed record high low temperatures November 8.

Durant and Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, were those places. Pauls Valley broke their record of 66° set back in 1966, while Durant broke their record of 65° set back in 1945.
A slew of Texoma locations broke their daily record high temperatures today as well!

November has been a month of record-breaking temperatures. Sherman, Texas observed its coldest-ever start to November with a record low of 29°. Additionally, November 8 could have a new record high. The preliminary high of 86° would break the old record of 85° set back in 1963. The official data will be released on November 9.

Temperatures will tumble on November 9 as a cold front slides through Texoma.
