COALGATE, Okla. (KTEN) — Construction began Wednesday on a new playground for Coalgate youngsters.

The $400,000 facility is going in at 45th Infantry Division park. The playground will be made from recycled plastic, and was designed by elementary school kids.

Construction is expected to take five days and the park should be open to the public on November 12.
