Convicted Sherman killer to appeal sentence
SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) — Two weeks after a jury found Ebby Wade guilty of first degree murder, he's going back to court.
Wade will appeal his conviction on Wednesday morning. Court records show he is once again choosing to represent himself.
Wade received the maximum sentence — life in prison and a $10,000 fine — for the 2020 killing of Emilia Gunnels in Sherman.
