SILO, Oklahoma (KTEN)- Two softball standouts at Silo signed their letters of intent Thursday.

Avery Beauchamp is headed to Murray State College while Makayla Clark signed with Eastern Oklahoma State College.

Both were members of Silo's 2021 fastpitch softball state title winning team.

And for them, Thursday was a day long in the making.

"I played softball my whole life and around 10U, I started playing travel ball," Beauchamp said. "And ever since then it's just been one of those things you work for. You get on a travel ball team and that's the goal of why you play travel ball is to go one day play college softball."

Ever since I was little I've always wanted to play college softball so it's a great opportunity that I get to play for at least two more years," Clark added."
