Wednesday Afternoon - Sunny skies and light south winds this afternoon with temps rising to the low 60s.

Looking Ahead - By Thursday south winds crank in warmer, humid air. Winds will be gusting up to 35-40 MPH Thursday and Friday. If you're going to be on the roof hanging lights...want to make sure you and the decorations are secure. Friday afternoon, Texoma has a forecast high of 73 degrees. The all-time record for the hottest December 8th was set back in 1966 with a high of 79. For those wishing it would feel a bit more like winter, a cold front is slated to move in Friday night into Saturday. This will wipe away those 70s and drop highs to the 50s this weekend. A level 1 risk is in place from Ada to Sherman and points east Friday night with a low chance for strong to severe storms. McCurtain County and East Texas are included in a level 2 risk for thunderstorms Saturday morning.
