Fun, food and more at Fannin County Fair
BONHAM, Texas (KTEN) — The Fannin County Fair is in town through Saturday.
There's no Big Tex, but there are plenty of things to do and see, from nightly pig races and calf scrambles to petting zoos and carnival games.
County fairs provide local people with big time fun. Andrea Lappin oversees the food and vendors at the fair. What's her favorite part?
"The first thing would be the rides, and they are just great," she said. "Everybody comes out, and you get to see the kids having fun. And then the food trucks and the vendors — I'm a little partial, because I am over them — and we just have a lot of shopping, and there are different groups here, and everybody just comes out and has a good time."
