Van Alstyne preps for Farmersville in game of week
VAN ALSTYNE, Texas (KTEN) - The Van Alstyne Panthers faced some question marks with such a young team coming into the season. However, the Panthers have had plenty of answers, getting out to a 2-1 start in district play.
Now, they get ready for a 4-1 Farmersville team that is coming off of a big 51-22 win against Gainesville.
"Those guys have got it going over there," said Van Alstyne head coach Mikeal Miller.
"Everything is working right now and everyone had their role and knows what to do," said Van Alstyne senior quarterback Weston Johnston.
Kickoff on Friday is set for 7:30 p.m. Van Alstyne looks to improve to 4-0 at home.
