GUNTER, Texas (KTEN)- Gunter cemented itself as a state title contender in 3A Division II on Friday night.

The Tigers earned a convincing 35-12 victory over Brock, the third ranked team in 3A Division I.

Quarterback Walker Overman had three total touchdowns, while the defense had another impressive performance as it frustrated the Eagles for much of the night.

Now 4-0 on the year, Gunter will host Gladewater next Friday in its final game before district play.
