Gunter, Texas (KTEN) - There will be championship pedigree all over the field when Brock heads to Gunter on Friday night. Both teams played for state titles in their respective divisions in 3A and their head-to-head matchup went down to the wire with Gunter winning 21-16.

Gunter head coach Jake Fieszel believes his defense could be the determining factor in the game.

"I'm really proud of our defense," said Fieszel. "They're flying around... we're going to need them to continue to improve, we're not where we want to be but we're certainly going in a good direction."

Kickoff at Tiger Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday night.
