Sherman man sentenced to 43 years on drug charges
GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KTEN) — A 47-year-old man from Sherman has been sentenced to a total of 43 years in prison.
In August 2022, a Grayson County deputy pulled Henry Peters over for a traffic violation during a routine traffic stop. The deputy discovered a baseball-size bag containing crack cocaine under the vehicle.
In October 2022, a Grayson County Sheriff's Office investigator stopped another vehicle on US 75 and arrested Peters for throwing narcotics out the window.
Peters will spend 33 years in prison for two charges of possession of a controlled substance and 10 years for tampering with physical evidence.
