Friday Evening - Non-severe storms tapering off in McCurtain County with clearing skies from west to east. Great weather for some Friday Night Lights! Temps falling into the upper 70s as the sun sets.

Looking Ahead - Another round of severe weather Saturday night into Sunday looks likely with a level 1 and 2 risk in place for Texoma. A cold front pushes through Sunday afternoon, bringing more chances for severe storms and cooler conditions. Highs drop into the mid 80s next week with sunshine returning late Monday and persisting through Thursday. Rainfall totals through the end of the weekend could reach 1-2".

Tracking the Tropics - Tropical Storm Ophelia is bringing impacts to the Carolina coast. Tropical storm force winds are already being observed. Heavy rainfall with inland flooding will be possible throughout the weekend. Ophelia will make landfall in the Outer Banks Saturday morning. Tropical Storm Warnings extend from the Outer Banks to the DelMarVa Peninsula. Storm Surge Warnings are in place with 3 to 5 feet of storm surge possible for some. A tropical wave off the African coast have a 90% chance of formation in the next week.
