CARTER COUNTY, Okla. (KTEN) — A Carter County resident died early Wednesday morning after his car collided with livestock on the roadway.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 25-year-old Kamriq Buycks of Tatums was traveling on Midway Road east of Fox when his Chevy Impala hit a cow.

Investigating Trooper Colton Robertson said the car veered off the road after impact, hitting a fence and a utility pole before crashing into trees.

Buycks was pronounced dead at the scene.
