ANTLERS, Okla. (KTEN) — Two female senior citizens were assaulted and injured at a residence in Antlers early Tuesday morning.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said one of the women, age 95, later died; a 73-year-old remained in critical condition on Tuesday afternoon. The names of the victims were not released.
The incident happened at a home near East Main Street and Northeast D Street. Antlers police called state agents after making the grim discovery.
"It was determined there was forced entry through the back door of the home," the OSBI said in a written statement.
