McALESTER, Okla. (KTEN) — A teenage bull rider was killed in an accident at the McAlester Rodeo over the weekend.

Derby Gearhart of Coalgate would have turned 17 on Monday.

A ranch rodeo fundraiser event is planned for September 16 at the Pittsburg Round Up Club arena. All fees will benefit Gearhart's family.
