Tuesday Evening - The last warm evening in the foreseeable future with temps in the upper 80s and partly cloudy skies. A bit breezy with south winds around 10-15 MPH. Make sure to head out to National Night Out at Forest Park in Denison and Old Settlers Park in Sherman! Conditions will remain dry for all the festivities!

Looking Ahead - One day closer to that fall feel! We can't rule out a few early morning showers/storms Wednesday, but I do believe that most will remain dry until Wednesday afternoon. Severe threat begins around lunchtime Wednesday. A marginal risk is in place for a majority of the area. 60-80 MPH wind gusts, up to baseball size hail, flash flooding, and even a tornado or two are possible. If you don't see rain early Wednesday, no worries, chances are best Wednesday evening into the overnight. This could impact your evening commute, so be sure to download our KTEN Weather App to give radar a glance before hitting the roads. Up to 4" of rain could be possible in isolated areas, but most will see about 1-3". We could potentially have lingering showers/storms into early Thursday morning, but we will all be drying out Thursday afternoon! Temperatures fall into the 70s through the weekend. Morning lows dip to the 40s, so if you are an early riser, you may want a heavier jacket. Welcome, Fall!
