Denison man arrested in Plano murder case

McKINNEY, Texas (KTEN) — A 19-year-old man from Denison is jailed on a murder charge in Plano, Texas.
On Wednesday, Plano police obtained an arrest warrant for Zemarion Derwin Winters, who detectives linked to the death of an adult male who was found in a parked car along North Central Expressway on August 7.
"During the course of the death investigation, detectives from the Crimes Against Persons Unit and Plano Crime Analysis Unit personnel located evidence that linked the victim to a crime scene in Dallas, Texas. During the follow-up investigation, a suspect was identified," police said in a written statement.
The victim's identity has not been released.
Winters remains at the Collin County Detention Center in McKinney; his bond is set at $1 million.
He is also facing an unrelated burglary charge.
