Idabel man sentenced for second degree murder

Stewart Coffman was sentenced for second-degree murder.
IDABEL, Okla. (KTEN) — An Idabel man is set to spend the next 35 years in federal prison for second degree murder.
Stewart Coffman, 60, has also been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon with the intent to do bodily harm.
Prosecutors say Coffman beat his victim to death with a metal pipe in October 2017.
Two days later, the victim's body was discovered when the Idabel Fire Department was dispatched to Coffman's home for a house fire.
