CADDO, Okla. (KTEN) - After pulling off state championships in fast and slow pitch softball, fast pitch softball and boys basketball in 2022, The Caddo Bruins would love to add football to that list this year.

"Last year I think we just did too much too early," said Caddo head coach Trenton Harmon. "this year we're trying to do less as far as installs go. Last year I was kind of eager and kids seem to be catching on sooner."

"I think this year is going to be even better," said senior linebacker Keaton Harrington. "We're 10,000 steps further than we were last year at this point."

Trenton Harmon's first year leading the bruins was by no means a disappointment. The Bruins made the playoffs, finishing 7-4 on the season but now they want to keep building.

"Make it further than last year, we want to make the third round at least," said senior AJ Peevyhouse. "We want to win more games, beat more teams."

Caddo opens the season on August 25 at Snyder.
