WAPANUCKA, Okla. (KTEN) — KTEN's transmitting antenna was struck by lightning on Sunday morning.

This lightning strike has temporarily disabled our broadcast signal.

Satellite, streaming service, and most cable system customers will not experience any interruptions, and KTEN's live stream will still air during every newscast on kten.com and our KTEN app.

Workers are installing a temporary replacement antenna while the damage to KTEN's permanent antenna is assessed.

We apologize for any inconvenience this is causing and we will continue to update our audience on the status of the signal and repairs.
