SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) — Sherman police are asking for the public's help with its investigation of the death of 22-year-old Nikkoli Van Nortwick.

Van Nortwick's body was discovered under the Grand Avenue overpass in Sherman on Sunday. The incident is being treated as a homicide case.

Anyone with information about what happened is urged to call Sherman police. 

"Additionally, a $5,000 reward is being offered by the Sherman Police Department and the Grayson County District Attorney's Office for anyone who provided pertinent information that leads to an arrest and an indictment," said police spokesperson Sgt. Brett Mullen.

The Texas Rangers are assisting with the case.
