SHERMAN, TX (KTEN) -- Grayson Christian football is preparing for their 2023 season by standing out during the offseason.

The Falcons are donating brand new helmets to the the killer bees peewee football program in Denison.

Grayson Christian's head football coach Jonathan Saucedo believes strong people off the field, will make plays and win ballgames on it come fall.

"One of the things young men struggle with is they tend to think about themselves. When our young guys are able to see that we are giving back to the community, it just shows there is more to life than just yourself. there's other people out there who need help. For them to be able to do that for them, I think that's going to build some character in our young men," said Saucedo.
