LOVE COUNTY, Okla. (KTEN) — Love County deputies were busy chasing three suspects early Friday morning.

Sheriff Andy Cumberledge said the trio took off following an attempted traffic stop around 3:30 a.m., leading deputies and police from Marietta and Lighthorse on a pursuit south on Interstate 35.

The suspects eventually ditched the car just north of the Texas border and the driver was arrested. No name was provided, but jail records showed that Dallas resident Dekevion Brown was booked Friday morning on charges including evading police, speeding and drug trafficking.

Deputies allege the three suspects had broken into a Thackerville dispensary earlier and fled with 17 pounds of marijuana.

The two passengers ran into a wooded area; investigators believe they got into a different car to make their getaway.
