DURANT, Oklahoma (KTEN) - Every Monday in June, the Durant Lions have hosted other schools for 7-on-7 football play, as teams sharpen their skills over the summer.

This week, the Lions faced Plainview and Sulphur, as these teams worked on their passing concepts and defensive coverages.

"It's great where, we're located, we've got some really talented teams," said Durant head coach Todd Vargas.

July 3-7 will be the mandatory dead week for OSSAA athletics.
