Tishomingo street dance raises funds for Christmas decorations
TISHOMINGO, Okla. (KTEN) -- Some outdoor fun happened in downtown Tishomingo Saturday evening.
Holy Heifers hosted its first street dance on Neshoba Avenue with live band performances, a mechanical bull, cornhole tournament and more.
The proceeds raised will contribute to purchasing Christmas decorations for downtown.
"We make our money off of tourism, but we also make our money off of the town," Holy Heifers co-owner Sharon Marshall said. "We want both of them to feel comfortable by coming and supporting us and knowing that this is something that we want to move forward with and continue just to grow."
Marshall says that five more fundraisers hosted by other businesses will be held later in the year for the same cause.
