Van Alstyne, Texas (KTEN) - Jaidan Servati, a standout volleyball player from Van Alstyne High School,  put pen to paper and made it official with McMurry University in Abilene.

Servati will join Ashlyn Quillan on the Lady War Hawks team... A Van Alstyne graduate from 2021.

She has plenty to look forward to as she continues to play volleyball, but Servati is most excited to pursue another type of career.

"I'm looking forward to being able to play volleyball," Servati said, "It's something I love to do and I think that I'm myself when I'm on the court. I get to yell and cheer, and I love cheering on my teammates. I'm super excited I get to continue to play the sport I love, but I'm also super excited that I'm going to be studying psychology in hopes to become a social worker. I'm excited for the education and for the community at McMurry."
