LOVE COUNTY, Okla. (KTEN) — A head-on crash near Marietta Thursday night left the drivers of two pickup trucks dead and one passenger injured.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said one of the trucks, driven by 62-year-old Billie Snyder of Burneyville, was traveling east on State Highway 32 about 7 miles west of Marietta when the vehicle crossed the center line.
Snyder's truck crashed into a westbound pickup driven by Gregory Parker of Wilson at around 8:45 p.m.
OHP said both drivers were trapped in the wreckage. Parker died at the scene; Snyder was pronounced dead early Friday at a hospital in Denton, Texas.
A passenger in Parker's truck was treated for head and arm injuries at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore and was later released.
