Texoma slow pitch softball teams struggle in day one of OSSAA State Tournament
OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (KTEN) - The OSSAA Slow Pitch Softball State Tournament kicked off Tuesday morning and several Texoma schools struggled in Classes A, 5A, and B. Kiowa was overpowered by Red Oak in an 11-4 contest. Caney lost a heartbreaker to Leedey 18-17, and Stuart also lost a nail-biter to Hammon 12-11.
The tournament continues Wednesday May 3 with 3A and 4A matchups, including Coalgate versus Silo, which is destined to be an instant classic.
