SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) — Grayson County Commissioners approved a contract with a production company to create promotional videos for the county.
The project will include six one-minute videos highlighting what the county has to offer — from education to real estate.

County Judge Bruce Dawsey hopes the videos will increase tourism.

"I viewed their product and what they've done for other counties around the state and around the nation, and I thought it'd be important with the growth we have coming to advertise and promote our county," Dawsey said.

If all goes according to plan, the cost will be completely covered by businesses buying advertising in the videos.

"Local business pays a contribution, and with that they get access to the videos, but they can also place their advertising as the video plays around the screen," Dawsey explained.
