Sunday Evening - Another great evening to go to the lake, but we do have a line of heavy rain and thunderstorms moving in along the I-35 corridor. Nothing looks severe, but lightning could cause issues on the lakes. Make sure to stay weather aware and to have the KTEN Weather App to get important lightning alerts! Light winds out of the south.

Looking Ahead - Scattered storm chances over the next few days with sub-severe storms possible. Isolated rain/storm chances stick around through the next week. Rain totals up to 1.50" is possible over the next seven days. The first Hot Summer Nights of the year in downtown Sherman looks to be okay for now with scattered shower/storm chances and temps in the mid to upper 80s. A cold front arrives Saturday night that could bring beneficial rainfall into Sunday morning with a slight cool down to the low 80s.
