SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) — Sherman High School has a new principal.

His name is Scott Johnston, currently serving in the same role at the Sherman Independent School District's middle school.

Johnston brings a total of 24 years of experience in education. Before working at Sherman Middle School, Johnston spent two years as principal at nearby S&S High School.

Johnston will finish this school year at the middle school before transitioning to the high school campus.

Now the district will begin the search for search for Johnston's replacement
