ADA, Oklahoma (KTEN) - per Southeastern Oklahoma State Athletic Communications:

Homers by Cheyenne Mahy and Kady Fryrear powered Southeastern to a 4-3 win over rival East Central in the series finale on Tuesday afternoon in Ada, Okla.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 24-18 overall on the season and 18-6 I Great American Conference play.

Sabetha Sands and Fryrear each logged a pair of hits, while Mahy, Gracie Ore, and Ananda Garrison added one each.

Mahy added two RBI on her homer, while Fryrear drove in one with hers, with Sands driving in a run on a double.

Reese Taylor got the start and tossed 2.2 innings, allowing three runs on four hits with two strikeouts in a no decision.

Amberlyn Walsworth came on in relief and picked up the win after allowing no runs on four hits over 4.1 innings with four strikeouts.

Southeastern would get on the board with a Mahy two-run homer in the bottom of the third inning and a batter later Fryrear would add on with a solo homer to push the lead to 3-0.

The lead would be short lived though as back-to-back doubles by the Tigers in the bottom half of the inning would tie the game up at 3-3.

Both teams were quiet until the top of the sixth when Ananda Garrison led off with a single and scored from first on a Sands RBI double to right-center field, pushing the lead to 4-3 which would hold up as the final score.
