Man shot by Denison police was homicide victim's son
DENISON, Texas (KTEN) — Denison police now say it was the son of a homicide victim who died in a police shooting incident early Monday morning.
Zachary Davis, 30, was shot and killed by officers in the 900 block of Lamar Avenue after police said "non-lethal tactics" to subdue the armed man failed.
Nearby, police found 63-year-old Zella Suzanne Laugner dead at a residence in the 900 block of Lamar Avenue in what was described as a homicide.
