Gunfire triggers alert at Durant Walmart

DURANT, Okla. (KTEN) — It was no April Fool's joke; there was an active shooter scare at the Walmart in Durant on Saturday afternoon.
Durant Police and Choctaw Nation Tribal Police responded to find that a legally-purchased handgun fell from a customer's pocket and discharged when it hit the floor.
No one was hurt, but one person was taken in for questioning after the incident at 3712 West Main Street.
