Wednesday Afternoon- Rain chances increase but stay relatively low into the afternoon and evening hours today. Temperatures will be rather toasty! Highs surging to the upper 80s and low 90s with heat index values in the 90s for many. Severe weather is not expected with any storms we may see develop. Brief heavy rain and lightning will be the biggest concern.

Looking Ahead - Low rain chances will stick around for the rest of the week, with a few isolated pop up showers possible each day. As we close in on another Texoma weekend, rain chances increase. Friday into Saturday looks to be the best bet for measurable rainfall. Up to 1 inch will be possible. Severe weather is not in the cards, but we will need to watch close due to the number of outdoor events going on this week! Sherman kicks off their Hot Summer Nights series Thursday evening, Music on Main onto their second week in Denison, and up toward Durant the Magnolia Fest kicks off Thursday and goes through Saturday.
