Thursday Afternoon - Mostly cloudy conditions persist this afternoon with a stray shower possible. No storms are expected. South winds remain strong at 10-20 MPH, pulling in plentiful moisture from the Gulf of Mexico. Dew points will remain in the 60s with temperatures climbing to the upper 70s to low 80s.

Looking Ahead - Severe weather won't be an issue until after midnight tonight into Friday. Up to a level 3 risk is in place for the entire area. Our biggest concern right now is going to be that morning commute Friday morning. With storms starting by 2 AM and lingering through sunrise and into the early afternoon - the initial storm threat will be highest early on. Redevelopment is possible Friday evening along any boundary that is leftover from the early round. Saturday afternoon will be our next bear to battle with now an enhanced (level 3) risk out for the area. Timing Saturday will be from 2 PM through Sunday morning.
